What began as a chance encounter in the Copenhagen airport blossomed into a friendship and a collaborative endeavor. When Albert Muzquiz crossed paths with the Uomo team, they struck up a conversation that evolved into what you see today: the perfect casual suit.

Albert’s Note: Don’t be deceived, this gray has much more going for it than you might think at first glance. Up close and in flattering light, the gray wool fabric has a near iridescence that reminds one of gasoline on the pavement. Dresses up extremely well with a white shirt and tie, although consider sizing up in the shirt-jac if you intend on mainly wearing with a button-up shirt underneath.

Albert’s Note: This was the first material that called to me on our fabric hunt in Florence. A blend (don’t worry, they’re all organic materials) with just the right bit of silk gives it an insanely soft hand and elegant drape. The flecky, neppy material reminds me of classic 50s suiting from some angles and fancy Japanese denim from others. Swishy and soft with nearly a pajama-like feel, this gives serious lounge lizard/ gigolo vibes.

Heavy deadstock Japanese denim. The thickness of the denim makes this shirt the perfect cross between a shirt and a jacket.
Albert’s Note: If you know me, it might seem obvious that we’d make at least one piece in denim, but honest to god, I hadn’t thought about it. This non-selvedge (but rigid and raw) Japanese denim called to me immediately. A hefty mid-weight denim with a slight gray cast, we had to give it a single wash to reduce its volatility and appease our Italian shirt sewers. Unlike the other shirt-jacs, it has pearl snaps and Mother of Pearl waste-adjuster buttons. The same great fit, but I found that mine fits slightly larger than the other pieces, which I think is good. All raw denim tends to shrink a bit over time. I recommend cold washing and line drying (but sparingly). Looks really good with the brown trousers and the flecky ones as well as any high-waisted trousers you may already have.

The classic knitted shirt from 1960s Italy — adopted by the mod culture of the era — has been lovingly and respectfully reimagined by us. We regard it as one of the most iconic garments of its time, adored everywhere from New Jersey to Brighton. A timeless silhouette that pairs effortlessly with almost anything.
The word “strik” means knit in Danish — and since this is our first-ever knitwear release, we wanted the name to feel close to home.

Shipping
We ship worldwide. Delivery times and costs depend on your location, and are provided during checkout. We strive to process orders within 2 business days, but this may vary during peak seasons or due to unforeseen circumstances. Shipping is handled by external carrier. You will receive tracking details once your order has shipped. For information about taxes and duties go to the section taxes and duties.
Return
If you wish to return an item, please notify us within 14 days of receiving the goods. Once we receive the returned items, we will process your refund within 10 business days. The refund will be made using the same payment method as the original purchase. If the item is returned damaged, or if it shows signs of wear, we reserve the right to issue a partial refund or deny the return. Uomo Clothing Copenhagen does not reimburse for any shipping costs.

For shipments to countries outside the EU, the order will be processed on a Delivery Duty Unpaid (DDU) basis. It all started in the backroom of a small men’s salon in the heart of Copenhagen. Two friends, Joachim and Janus, passionate about classic men’s fashion, set out to design the perfect high-waisted trousers. The sketches quickly became reality, and within weeks, the trousers were sold out. This only fueled their ambition to further develop their brand.
